Yummy noodle bowl with teriyaki beef and broccoli - you need to make this for dinner tonight! Tastes like P.F. Chang's but is healthier and more delicious! #glutenfree

These beef and broccoli teriyaki noodle bowls are so easy to make, and a great alternative to take out!

Mmm…we made the best beefy broccoli teriyaki noodle bowls the other night! I was in a P.F. Chang’s kind of mood, but didn’t want to bother with ordering and going to pick it up, so we made our own awesome teriyaki beef dinner. It was so good.

These beef and broccoli teriyaki noodle bowls were pretty easy and quick to put together.

You just need to soak the rice noodles ahead of time. If you haven’t used rice noodles before, it can be a little tricky getting them to turn out right.  After struggling for years with rice noodles, I finally have a system that works for me so that they don’t get all sticky and starchy.  Here’s what I do: I pour water in a bowl, and microwave it until it’s very hot. Then I submerge the rice noodles in the hot water and let them soak for about 45 minutes. Right before I’m ready to add them to the recipe, I microwave the noodles in the water for three minutes. Then I add them to the pan with the meat, veggies, and sauce. I know there are other methods of preparing rice noodles, but this way works for me, and they are perfectly delicious every time!

I also recently discovered a gluten free teriyaki sauce that I LOVE.   This sauce by San-J is so good. It has a great flavor, and I don’t feel that it’s too salty, which is often the case with bottled sauces.

Perfect way to use up the left over steak I had in the fridge. No idea on the cut of the steak but it worked perfectly. This was a complete surprise with how much my family loved it. Full of flavor and I threw in some brown sugar for a little sweetness.

You’ve become my go to for recipe ideas because they haven’t let down yet.

It had a lot of potential but it was too salty for us. The flavor was good though. I got the ingredients you suggested but what can I do to keep the salt content down?

Try using low sodium tamari sauce. You can also use a smaller amount of the tamari – that’s the source of the salt.

so as an essential worker this past year i havent had a lot of time to cook for my now 7yr old. I found this recipe and was super excited to try it. Everything was going great I used a whole cup of teriyaki instead of adding tamari and i added garlic, BUT when i went to use the red pepper i didnt notice the lid was not on all the way so i would say about a teaspoon was added >< My girl loves spicy food and broccoli so i figured it would be ok. I thought it was delicious but the only thing she would eat was the meat :( i promised her next time i wont make it so spicy.

The only thing I would say is remember to steam your broccoli first so it’s not almost totally raw when you finish cooking! A nice meal to eat when you have multiple dietary restrictions.

Made this last night, we all loved it! We couldn’t find skirt steak so got flank steak and first cooked it on the grill, after it rested, we sliced it and added to the pan when we added the broccoli. Thank you, we will be making it again soon!

Wow! Lots of flavor. I did steam my broccoli for 5 minutes before adding them. And, next time, I will break up the noodles more, before soaking them. I did use a different brand as yours was not available. Four thumbs up (my husband an me). Thanks.

This beef and broccoli teriyaki was the bomb-o-licious! Got the thumbs up from picky 9-year old and satisfied the whole family. Perfect combo of the sauce spices. I used brown rice noodles so didn’t have the whole pre-prep on that step which made this even quicker to the table. Thank you so much for coming up with this super recipe. I’m wheat and dairy free these days.

Chinese takeout was always my fave growing up and I stopped eating the noodle bowls when I stopped eating gluten. So I’m absolutely psyched to see a GF version of a classic delish dish!! I love rice noodles and don’t know why I haven’t gotten more adventurous with them. Well played, love!! :D
