Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year? It’s a lot of work, am I right?
I know that when I host Thanksgiving (or any holiday event), it really helps if I get organized ahead of time. I want to be able to be organized and not frazzled on the big day! That means that I spend a fair amount of time making lists in order to prepare for my shopping, cooking, and hosting.
I’m lost without my lists! I need to be able to see everything written out so that I can make changes and adjustments as needed. Since I rely so heavily on list-making, I decided to make a few printables to share with you!
This first set of two printables is a Thanksgiving day planner and shopping list. This way you can sit down and plan your menu and your shopping trip all at once. It just makes everything go a little bit more smoothly.
And if you are having any guests with special dietary needs, be sure to note that when you make out your list! You don’t want to forget any special ingredients that need to be purchased.
These printables are available as PDFs for you to instantly download to your computer.

This next printable is more for the actual day itself – it has spots for guests and menu, but it also has a timeline and an area for notes. That way you can plan on what goes into the oven at what time, and stay on track with your meal preparation for the day.
I find that to be the most difficult part of hosting Thanksgiving dinner – scheduling everything so that it all gets cooked and baked and is ready to eat when the guests arrive! It certainly would be easier if I had multiple ovens, you know?
