Berry tea popsicles are a great way to stay hydrated in the summer! These delicious frozen treats are so refreshing. Make them with a variety of your favorite berries for a vibrant summer dessert.

    easy berry tea popsicles

Summertime is here! Time to get outside, get in the pool, and enjoy the summer sun.

Of course, you’ll need something to help you stay cool and hydrated. Easy recipes like citrus infused water, cherry limeade, or even fresh fruit salsa will help keep you cool and comfortable.

But if you really want to stay cool, you’ll want something cold and frozen. Popsicles are the perfect summer dessert, and these berry tea popsicles are extra refreshing.

These popsicles couldn’t be any easier to make. They require just a few ingredients – your favorite berry tea, your favorite juice, and a mix of summer berries. That’s all it takes to make these easy vegan pops.

These are just the right blend of fruit juice, berry tea, and fresh fruit. Kids and adults love these frozen treats.

    berry tea popsicles with blueberries

    Ingredient Notes

    • Tea – I used a berry tea for this recipe. Everyone’s allergies are different, but two tea brands to look into are Twinings and Numi Teas. Be sure to call the company and ask questions before you try a new brand or product.
    • Berries – I used fresh blueberries. You could also try raspberries or peaches.
    • Juice – I liked the way cranberry juice cocktail tasted with the tea, but you can use pretty much any juice that you like in this recipe.

    Variations

    • use different fruits – try cherries or raspberries
    • use a different tea – try hibiscus, peach, or something else!
    • use fresh watermelon juice instead of cranberry juice

    Special Equipment

I like making these in a popsicle mold, but if you don’t have a special mold, you could certainly make these in small paper cups. Popsicle sticks are necessary so that you can hold on to these easily.

    Step by Step Instructions

    1. Brew a few berry tea bags. Allow the tea to cool.
    2. Place some berries in a popsicle mold.
    3. Mix the tea with some fruit juice, and pour the liquid into the popsicle molds.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups water
    • 3 berry tea bags
    • 1 ¼ cups cranberry juice cocktail
    • 4 strawberries sliced
    • ½ cup blueberries
Prevent your screen from going dark

    Instructions

    • Pour the water in a bowl, and microwave for 90 seconds or until steaming. Or you can heat your water in a teakettle – that will work, too!
    • Remove from microwave and place the 3 teabags in the water to steep.
    • Allow to steep until cool. Add the juice to the tea.
    • Divide the fruit evenly and place in a popsicle mold. Pour the juice/tea mixture over the fruit.
    • Place the sticks and the top on the popsicle mold, then place in freezer.
    • Let freeze for at least 6 hours, or until frozen solid.
    • To release popsicles from the mold, allow to thaw for 15 minutes, or run cool water on the outside of the bowl to make it easier to pull the popsicles out.

    Notes

To store popsicles, remove from the mold and place in a ziploc freezer bag. They should stay fresh in the freezer for up to 3 months.

These sound great. I already love tea and juice together and I bet in popsicle form it would be an amazing combination.

These look SO yummy!! I’m not a big tea drinker either, but the blueberry tea sounds wonderful! Is it bitter at all?

I have not had it as a cup of tea, but I asked Darryl and he said it is not bitter, but does taste like tea. I don’t know if that helps?

I love putting tea in sweets! I much prefer it over drinking a cup, actually! These look so delicious and refreshing. I like the big blueberries hidden within :)
