Instructions

Make the taco seasoning:

  • Combine all spices in a jar and mix together.

How to use taco seasoning:

  • If you are making ground beef, I would start out with about 2-3 Tablespoons of seasoning and a half cup of water per pound of beef. You could add a tablespoon or two of tomato paste as well.

Notes

Nutrition facts are for the amount of taco seasoning that you would use to season a pound of meat, not an individual serving.
Store taco seasoning in a glass jar with a lid. It should stay fresh in a cool, dry place, for at least 6 months.
If you'd like to make this blend hotter, you can add some cayenne pepper to the mix. Add a little at a time until it's up to your preferred level of heat.
