Ingredients

  • 48 ounces apple cider
  • 1 apple cored and sliced thin

Instructions

  • Turn the ice cream maker on. Pour the cider into the bowl of the ice cream maker.
  • Churn the cider for about 15 minutes, until it reaches the perfect slushie consistency.
  • Scoop the cider slush into glasses and garnish with thinly sliced apple. Enjoy!

Notes

If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can freeze apple cider in ice cube trays, then blend it in a blender with some cider to make a slush.
Freeze leftover slush in a freezer safe container. It will be frozen solid, so when you want to eat it, you will need to let it thaw before scooping it out.
You can add cinnamon or other spices to the cider if you like. If you want to make an adult beverage, try adding spiced rum or brandy to the slush.
