  1. Place the pumpkin seeds and hemp hearts in a food processor and pulse until finely ground.
  2. Add the dried cherries, cocoa powder, and maple syrup. Process until the mixture is fairly smooth - it will be quite thick,
  3. Add the mini chocolate chips and stir.
  4. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and use your hands to roll it into a ball. If you want to dip it in cocoa powder or another coating, you can do so. Place the balls on the cookie sheet.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for an hour before eating. Store energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
