  1. Pulse the sunflower seeds and gluten free oats in the food processor until they are finely ground.
  2. Add the California Dried Plums and pulse until they are finely chopped and incorporated.
  3. Add the maple syrup and unsweetened cocoa powder and process until the mixture comes together - it will be very thick.
  4. Scrape the mixture out into a bowl. Stir in the 1/3 cup of chocolate chips.
  5. Place some cocoa powder and some more chocolate chips into two separate small bowls.
  6. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
  7. Roll the mixture into balls that are about one inch in diameter. Roll each ball in either the cocoa powder or mini chocolate chips.
  8. Place the balls on the lined cookie sheet. Let them chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before eating.
  9. Store in the refrigerator.
