Ingredients

  • 6 cups medium potatoes For about 6 cups sliced potatoes. Russet potatoes work well, or gold potatoes.
  • 6 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon pink sea salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Peel and slice potatoes into wedges. Try to keep them all about the same size, so they cook evenly.
  3. Place potatoes, olive oil, and seasonings in a large bowl. Toss to coat.
  4. Place fries on two cookie sheets in a single layer.
  5. Bake at 450 for about 45 minutes. Use a spatula to flip the fries every 15 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels before serving.

Recipe Notes

**The original recipe called for 3/4 Tablespoon of Jane's Krazy Mixed Up Salt Chunky Garlic Seasoning. This isn't a seasoning blend that I am comfortable with since my son has a sesame allergy now. I have updated the recipe with the spices that we use now.

However, if you like Jane's Salt, and it's safe for you, I thought I'd mention that it was used in the original recipe.
