Sweet sesame almonds are a tasty, healthy snack!

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the almonds on a cookie sheet and roast until they smell good, about 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
  2. Pour the sesame seeds in a medium bowl and set aside.
  3. In a small glass bowl, combine the honey, canola oil, and water. Microwave on high for 15 seconds. Stir.
  4. Add the sugar and salt to the liquid mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Add the almonds to the liquid and stir to coat.
  6. With a slotted spoon, transfer the almonds to the bowl with the sesame seeds. Do not put the excess liquid into the sesame seed bowl. Stir the almonds so the sesame seeds stick to them.
  7. Spread the almonds out on a wax paper lined surface to dry.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
