Simple Pesto Recipe.

A super simple pesto recipe. Easy to make and delicious on pasta!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons pine nuts you can leave these out if necessary
  • salt to taste
  • pinch red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Put the basil leaves, garlic, olive oil, cheese, and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until well blended. If it's too dry, add a bit more oil.
  • Add as much salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes as you like.
  • Serve over hot pasta, chicken, fish, or anything you like! Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
