Kelly Roenicke
A chia egg replacer is a great option when you can't bake with eggs! Simple, natural, and it works well in muffins, cookies, or cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
  • 3 Tablespoons water

Instructions

  • Combine the chia seeds and the water in a small cup or bowl. Stir.
  • Wait for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture forms a gel. Use in place of one egg in your recipe.

Notes

This recipe is equal to one regular egg.
I do not recommend chia seed egg replacers in recipes that require 3 or more eggs.
