– 5 Tablespoons organic coconut oil  – ⅜ cup brown sugar  – 1 cup gluten free flour blend – ¼ teaspoon sea salt – ¼ teaspoon baking soda – 2 Tablespoons non-dairy milk – ¼ cup applesauce – ½ cup certified GF oats – ½ cup vegan chocolate chips – 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes for sprinkling on top

You can add sunflower seeds, nuts, or coconut flakes to this batter if you like. Be creative!

Step 1

Mix the coconut oil and sugar on medium speed until combined. Add the non-dairy milk and applesauce and mix again.

Add the GF flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until smooth. Stop the mixer and stir in the chocolate chips and oats.

Spoon the batter onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Sprinkle some sea salt flakes on the cookies once they are out of the oven. Allow the cookies to cool before moving them.
