Asian Pear Crisp (Gluten Free, Dairy Free).

This pear crisp is warm and wonderful with some vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce!

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Put the gluten free oats, gluten free flour blend, and sugar in a separate bowl. Add the buttery spread and cut in with a pastry blender (it will be lumpy with little balls of buttery spread). Set aside.
  • Peel, core, and thinly slice the pears and put then in a bowl. Add the cinnamon and sugar and mix together. Place the fruit in a 9 inch square baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the crumb topping over the pears.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F for about 30-35 minutes.
  • Serve warm with dairy free ice cream, whipped coconut cream, or enjoy plain!

Notes

You can use a different variety of pear if you prefer. Try Bosc pears or D'Anjou pears.
This pear crisp can be stored at room temperature for three days. If you'd like to keep it longer than that, store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
