Chex cereal is coated with chocolate, sunbutter, and powdered sugar for a sweet and simple treat! These gluten free muddy buddies are always a big hit!
Place the chocolate chips in a large microwave safe bowl and microwave for 60 seconds. Stir, then microwave for 15 second intervals until melted.
Add the sunbutter to the chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
Pour the Chex cereal into the bowl and stir until the cereal is covered.
Transfer the mixture into two large ziploc bags. Pour half of the powdered sugar into each bag, then seal the bags and shake well to coat.
Pour into a serving bowl or store in the bag.
Notes
Store this in an airtight container or ziploc bag - it should stay fresh for about a week. I like to store it in the fridge, because I like it better cold, but you don't have to do that. I prefer to use half corn chex and half rice chex.
