The Creamiest Vegan Chocolate Pudding

This pudding is so easy to make, and it can be dressed up with whipped topping and chocolate shavings for a special holiday dessert!

Step 1

Combine the corn starch, cocoa powder, and sugar in a heavy bottomed sauce pan.

Step 2

Add the non-dairy milk one cup at a time, stirring constantly so that you don't get lumps.

Step 3

Continue to cook and stir until the pudding is smooth and thickened.

Step 4

Once the pudding has thickened, you can reduce the heat to low. Add the vanilla extract and the chocolate chips, and stir until they melt.

Step 5

Chill the pudding in the refrigerator for  3 hours. To avoid a skin forming on top, press plastic wrap down against the pudding.

Top with vegan whipped topping if desired.
