We love to read over here, and I recently did a little rearranging in our house so that we have a little reading corner in the living room now. I wanted to have some reading artwork for that area, so I made a few printables. If you want to download them for yourself, just click the link below each one.

Enjoy! What are your favorite books for children? Especially for kiddos age five and up?

I love these for my little girl’s room! And they would be perfect in my office since I work in a library =)

Really cute! I love to read too:)
Hmmm, I only started getting into English books a little later in life, well, at least a bit later than 5;) So all I have are Dutch recommendations, sorry.

I love your printables! It is so hard for me to narrow down a list of favorite kids books ages 5 and up! Right around age 5, my kids started to enjoy reading book series, such as Magic Treehouse (I think we own all 46+ books), and as they grew older we worked our way through Judy Moody, Encyclopedia Brown, and of course lead up Harry Potter! I love reading with my kids!

How fun!! Love the magic hour quote!
My boys loved all the Sandra Boyton books when they were little – so fun and the pictures are very engaging. Then the “I can read” series is wonderful. We did Hooked on Phonics and my one son was fluently reading before K. Books & kids are a great combo!
