I LOVE autumn! There’s something about chilly weather, and days at the cider mill, and a cozy sweater, and a nice warm pumpkin dessert that just go together SO well, don’t you think?
There’s nothing like fall baking – the whole house is scented with cinnamon, cloves, and ginger, and the reward is a deliciously spiced sweet treat. Since fall is here, I thought I’d gather up a nice big collection of gluten free pumpkin desserts.
There’s no reason that you should miss out on scrumptious fall treats just because you can’t have gluten! There are many wonderful recipes here, and they are easy to make, too.
This list contains everything from pumpkin cookies to brownies and bars to pumpkin butter. If you’re looking for the most delicious gluten free pumpkin desserts, you’ve found them!
- Make sure to line your cookie sheets with parchment paper when baking gluten free cookies. This will help the cookies to come off the pan easily.
- Parchment paper cupcake liners are also helpful to keep muffins and cupcakes from sticking to the pan.
- Allow cookies to cool on the cookie sheet before moving them to prevent crumbling. Gluten free baked goods can be delicate and require a little extra care.
- Store leftover baked goods in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
Pumpkin pie filling has added sweetener and spices, so it’s not a great choice in recipes that call for pure pumpkin puree.
Yes, you could use fresh pumpkin that has been baked and then pureed if you like! It should work the same way canned pumpkin puree does.
