I’ve mentioned before that I struggle with breakfast making decisions…since we have removed eggs and dairy from our diets breakfast has become the most difficult meal of the day for me. I’m always looking for new, easy breakfast options. One of my most recent finds is Silk Dairy-Free yogurt alternative.
I love this new dairy free product from Silk. It’s smooth, creamy, and contains six grams of protein per serving. It comes in six delicious flavors (my favorite is the Peach & Mango) and is free of carageenan, casein, lactose, gluten, and of course dairy.
And since Tuesday seems like a good day for a little something extra…what better way to start the day than with a yummy breakfast parfait?
This dairy free berry and hemp seed parfait is so easy to make…it’s simply Silk Dairy-Free Vanilla Yogurt Alternative, fresh blackberries, fresh strawberries, and hemp seeds. It’s super quick to assemble, and so delicious!
Dairy Free Berry and Hemp Seed Breakfast Parfait.
- 5 ounces Silk Dairy-Free Vanilla Yogurt Alternative
- ½ cup fresh blackberries
- ½ cup fresh strawberries diced
- 1 Tablespoon hemp seed hearts
- In a glass jar, alternate layers of the Silk Non-Dairy Alternative, blackberries, and strawberries.
- Top with hemp seed hearts and enjoy!
Of course, you could dress these breakfast parfaits up any way you like! Use a different seed, or use different berries! This particular combination would also be really tasty using the Peach & Mango flavor as well.
