Imagine that you’re having a backyard barbecue, and you need to run to the store to grab some barbecue sauce. You run into the store, head down the aisle, and see that your favorite store-bought brand – the one that works for your dietary needs – is out of stock.
Ugh! Don’t you hate that?
You look at all the other options, but there are just so many, and who knows for sure if they’re totally safe for your family. You’d need to call the company to be sure, and who’s going to answer the phone on a weekend?
The trouble with store-bought condiments like barbecue sauce is that even if they don’t contain common allergens, they may be manufactured in a facility or on the same lines as those allergens.
Or store-bought brands may contain other ingredients that you just don’t want to consume – things like high fructose corn syrup, MSG, or propylene glycol.
You need a great recipe for homemade barbecue sauce that’s delicious, easy to make, and allergy friendly.
This is the only recipe you need for homemade barbecue sauce. This spicy sweet barbecue sauce is full of flavor, made with natural ingredients, and just delicious on chicken, pork, or beef.
And the best part is, it’s really easy to make your own barbecue sauce. You can control the spice level, too, which is nice, especially if you’re making it for your kids.
You can also experiment with this recipe. You can add some smoked paprika or try honey instead of maple syrup. This sauce is easy to make, flavorful, and fast – you’ll be ready to serve this in about 15 minutes. Perfect for last minute get-togethers!
How to make homemade barbecue sauce:
