Two of summer’s best treats combine in this recipe for lemonade fruit popsicles! These pops are a great way to beat the heat!
Last week we were hit with a summer cold/cough/fever/virus. Both boys got it, and it was awful. It’s no fun to be sick when it’s summertime, that’s for sure.
I really felt like I was in the wrong routine when I was making chicken soup and garlic lemonade. That’s not the norm for when it’s 95 degrees outside. Both boys are on the mend now, thankfully, so I hope we’ll be back on track with fun summer activities soon!
These popsicles are just the thing for a hot July day, whether you’re sick or healthy. If you’re sick, they’ll soothe a sore throat, and if you’re healthy, they’re a great way to cool off. They couldn’t be any easier to make, just lemonade and frozen or fresh fruit. Use whatever combination you like! I used raspberries, blueberries, and pineapple.
You could even use limeade or another juice for these if you want to – but I love the classic summer taste of lemonade in this recipe – so refreshing! The measurements in the recipe will make eight popsicles, but depending on the size of your popsicle mold, you may need more or less of the ingredients.
- 2-3 cups lemonade
- ½ cup raspberries
- ½ cup pineapple chunks
- ½ cup blueberries
- Drop the fruit into the popsicle molds in your desired order.
- Fill popsicle molds with lemonade and insert sticks.
- Freeze for 6-8 hours.
