Make this delicious blueberry butter to spread on your favorite biscuits or toast! It’s a great addition to a weekend brunch menu or to a holiday table.

I love simple recipes that make meals special. Whether it’s a bright green herb sauce, or perfectly light egg free waffles, or flavored butter spreads, it’s nice to have easy recipes that you know will make your menu pop.
This dairy free blueberry butter is one of those recipes. It’s super simple, but very delicious. It really does add something special to your breakfast or brunch. You just blend butter or vegan buttery spread, blueberries, and a little sugar in the food processor until smooth. That’s it! Then serve it with warm bread or biscuits – it’s really heavenly.
This is a great (and easy!) way to impress your guests. You can even do a variety of flavored butters – strawberry buttery spread, green onion butter, cinnamon butter…there are lots of possibilities!
Ingredient Notes
- Vegan Buttery Spread – We use Earth Balance Soy Free Vegan Buttery Spread, but you can use any brand that works for you. You can make this work for your dietary needs – if you aren’t dairy free, you can use regular butter.
- Blueberries – I like fresh blueberries in this recipe, but you could use frozen if that’s what you have on hand. Just thaw them out and remove any excess liquid before processing them with the buttery spread.
Special Equipment
A mini food processor makes it very easy to blend this spread in a hurry. If you are making a larger amount, a larger food processor would be a good choice.
